Water Damage and Restoration in a Jamestown Laundry Room
The leak from the washing machine supply line spritzed many gallons of water into this laundry room. The water wicked into the walls and soaked underneath the floor tiles. Our SERVPRO crew can remove the water. After measuring the height of the water wicking in the walls with a moisture meter, we neatly cut out the soaked portions of the wall. At the 2-food mark, it is easier and more economical to hang new panels. The discarded wet material allowed a faster drying time, and then we can spray an antimicrobial product on all the exposed areas. With a light deodorizing mist to provide a more pleasant smell, the area was now ready for new materials. And we can also rebuild the walls and floor, "Like it never even happened."
